DIANA, IN MEMORIAM It is ten years ago precisely that Diana, The Princess of Wales died. And in memory of her life and death I thought it appropriate to include a few thoughts here on Astrolutely.com. They come in the form of a chapter in my book, Starstruck.

| The Week Ahead* Forecasts |
Penny Thornton Week Ahead* horoscopes for the week starting:
18th August 2008
18th August 2008 - 24th August 2008
This is not the first time that Uranus has come up for discussion, and it definitely won't be the last. This planet is in high focus when break-throughs occur, whether in the sense of scientific discoveries and diplomatic efforts or volcanoes and earthquakes so we face an interesting week. Over the years I have tried to guide my clients through tricky passages and endeavoured to find the wisdom to negotiate my own night-sea crossings so looking out on the week ahead I am already getting out my ballet slippers in order to tread lightly on the eggshells strewn across my path. I'm also going to be telling myself: not my way, Penny, but Thy way!

| The Month Ahead* Forecasts |
Penny Thornton Month Ahead* horoscopes for the month starting:
1st August 2008
1st August 2008 - 31st August 2008
There's nothing ordinary about August's planetary alignments: they are extra-ordinary. The month opens on a total solar eclipse (which you will be able to see if you live in Canada, Greenland, Russia, Mongolia or China) and ends on a crescendo of Uranus and Pluto aspects – out with the old and in with the new. All eclipses signal key world events, although it must be remembered that the time-line of an eclipse spans six weeks at least on either side of the date in question. Each week sports a powerful astro-scape – with the week of the 11th emerging as the most highly charged - which means we need to be flexible with our plans and tolerant when circumstances beyond our control interfere with them. Expect some record-breaking events at the Beijing Olympics, leadership crises, company collapses and some spectacular displays from Nature.
The Month Ahead monthly forecasts are now automatically updated at 00:01 hrs CET (Central European Time) four days before the start of the month!
