Cancer - Summer 2006

GENERAL

What a sea-change from last summer! Gone is dreary Saturn and here is jolly Jupiter, adding to your bank of happiness with opportunities to expand your personal and professional horizons and encouraging you to think big. Make the most of your quiet moments in July because from August you'll be on the move, and possibly to a far-off location. There could be unexpected reasons for travel, and more than one surprise piece of news. Acquiring knowledge, even qualifications, is another big theme for the summer - and beyond; you may also welcome a new member into the family.

LOVE

The last two years had their share of heartache, but you certainly sorted the good guys from the bad guys. The summer brings out a more adventurous and joyful you, and especially during the second half of July - watch the week of the 24th for happy events generally and your love life in particular - a holiday or social occasion will widen your circle of friends and suitors. If I do have a niggle about your love life is that your fear of losing those closest to you actually has the effect of driving them away - something to think about in the late August period especially.

WORK AND FINANCE

Do you need me to tell you to play safe? Hardly. But just in case you come under pressure to spend your hard earned pennies, keep your hand in your pocket. Financial transactions will take longer than expected and there will be hidden loopholes and costs. An old established company could let you down around 31st August - do your homework in good time. As far as career is concerned, while you may want to spend more time away from the �office' in the summer, these are the months when plans are being hatched at a high level for sweeping changes in the autumn. Keep your ear to the ground...

HOME AND FAMILY

Your policy for the summer should be to live and let live: give the family the freedom they need and you too will start to see the serious benefits of a more independent existence. There is a far-away feel to the next three months, so even if you're not taking off to a distant country you could be mixing with people from foreign parts. Adding to the family is a big theme for 2006, whether there are weddings to celebrate, new home surroundings or the patter of tiny feet - late September should see the most important domestic developments.
