| Leo - Summer 2008 |
GENERAL
Two eclipses in your sign make this a summer of significance. You may have selected this season for a major occasion already but if not expect one or more events to leave a lasting imprint. Relationships are the big summer story and in general other people will be the catalysts of change, whether they are introducing you to new places and exotic fare or inspiring you to move into new personal/professional territory. August is full of excitement, on the one hand, and instability on the other so keep your timetable as fluid as your plans. Especially if you have a birthday on or near the 1st or 15th August you are at a life crossroads and although you may be driven by events, there will be choices to make.
LOVE
Oh la la! Are you in for a few surprises. Love affairs spring out from nowhere and with the force of a tsunami and some Leos will have to make a choice between two equally powerful loves – nonetheless your heart will pull you towards one. The other side of this same astrological coin is that for a few Leos a once stable relationship will be in pieces, possibly over infidelity or some other kind of betrayal. Certainly, fate will appear to be directing your course in August. July is the most settled period for romance, and the weekend of the 26th perfect for a wedding or making a serious romantic decision. And if the storms of August do upset your love boat, matters could be set to rights in mid-September.
WORK AND FINANCE
Your career is not in the main frame for the summer. Sure, there will be developments going on that will materialize later in the year but your attention should be on personal and family matters. The exception here is that should you be in a business partnership the aforementioned trend for sudden and unexpected upsets will be present. Saturn's transit of the money zone is a perfect reflection of the global economic squeeze so budgeting is the name of the game. September 1st - 15th represents a premium period for finances: you should know where you stand, there should be firm offers on the table.
HOME AND LIFESTYLE
Remember that word, fluid? It's going to be your mantra for the summer. I'm not saying that you cannot lay down family and holiday plans and see them fulfilled but I am suggesting that you avoid becoming the Leo Napoleon and give democracy a chance! When you allow people sovereignty over their own lives, they will happily sit at your table – something to consider with the younger generation and a member of the family who may be considering an unwise choice of partner. Finding pleasures close to home is recommended and if you are travelling far and wide be prepared for some unscheduled detours, especially around the 16th August.
